Who we are
The company was founded in 1974 as a mechanical workshop within the Milan Blagojević chemical works. From 1978 it operated independently under the name FAPROMAL — a factory for process equipment, machines and tools.
Through the 1970s and 1980s the company grew substantially — from 74 employees in 1974 to 200 in 1990, on the back of successful trading at home and abroad.
Since 1998 the company has traded under its present name, MB Fapromal. It was privatised by auction at the end of 2008 and re-registered as a limited liability company in February 2012 — MB-FAPROMAL DOO Lučani.
Today the plant employs nearly 70 people, with a significant share of output going to German- and English-speaking markets. We continue to adapt to modern management systems, production processes and environmental standards — as the introduction of high-precision water jet cutting shows.
