Frequently asked questions
The questions customers most often ask before sending an inquiry.
Do you manufacture to customer drawings?
Yes. Most of our range is made to order — to the technical documentation you supply, or to a solution we develop together with you. If you only have an idea and the operating conditions, we will prepare the technical solution.
Which materials do you work with?
Stainless, carbon and alloy steel, aluminium, copper and copper alloys, plus plastics for water jet cutting. We choose the material according to the duty of the equipment and the medium it will contact.
Which certificates do you hold?
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, certified by SGS, and EN 1090-1 for the execution of steel structures, execution class EXC 2, issued by TÜV SÜD. Scans and certificate numbers are on our Standards page.
Do you deliver abroad?
Yes. A significant share of our output is exported, mainly to German- and English-speaking markets. For ALJU AG of Zurich we built and installed four technical towers, including transport and on-site installation in Switzerland.
Do you handle on-site installation?
Yes. Besides fabrication we handle transport, including oversized loads, and installation at the customer site. We installed granulate silos for Maxima in Lučani, for example.
Do you make one-off items or only series?
Both. A large part of our work is one-off manufacture — a single tank, a single press, a single machined part to drawing. We also produce in series when required.
What is water jet cutting and when is it the better choice?
Cutting with an abrasive water jet at 3800 bar, on a 2000 × 6000 mm table, up to 150 mm thick. The advantage is that there is no thermal effect — the material is not heated or distorted, so there is no heat affected zone as with plasma or laser cutting.
Do you build pressure equipment?
Yes — pressure vessels, compressed air receivers and separators, with a documented welding procedure and inspection of the welds. With your inquiry please state the design and test pressure, the medium, and the code the vessel is to be built to.
What should I send to get a quote?
If you have a drawing or 3D model, send that along with the material, quantity and deadline. If not, dimensions, intended use and operating conditions (medium, pressure, temperature) are enough. Each product page lists exactly what we need for that group.
What are your lead times?
The lead time depends on the scope, the material and current workshop capacity, so we confirm it with the quote. If you have a fixed deadline, state it in your inquiry — we will tell you straight away whether it is feasible.
